Kaushal "Ken" Majmudar, JD, CFA serves as our chief investment officer and is supported by other members of our team of professionals. Established in 1962, the CFA Program is awarded to investment specialists after completing a 3 year graduate-level study and examination program. The program is selective, with fewer than 10% of enrolled candidates clearing the examination requirements in sequence*. Ken is active in the leading professional groups for investment and wealth managers as a member of both the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Securities Analysts. He is also a member of the Value Investors Club - an online members-only group for skilled value investors founded by Joel Greenblatt. Ken's high level experience and work with clients has been recognized and cited on multiple occasions. In 2009, Businessweek.com named Ken Majmudar one of the 50 Most Experienced Independent Advisors in the country. In 2005, Kaushal and The Ridgewood Group were also recognized as a 5-star advisor, their highest rating, by Paladin Registry. He is also a noted author and speaker. Ken graduated with honors from the Harvard Law School after being an honors graduate of Columbia University with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Prior to founding The Ridgewood Group in late 2002, Kaushal worked for seven years on Wall Street as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers. He is admitted to the bar in New York and New Jersey. The Ridgewood Group is
