We invite people to speak to us in person and we have prepared several presentations that cover a number of topics that are both interesting and relevant to investment success.  As a result, we organize or give seminars to small groups of people from time to time.  Some of the topics that we cover in these talks include:
  1. What you can learn about investing by studying the great investors
  2. What it means to be an intelligent investor
  3. Pitfalls that most investors should be aware of
  4. How to think about the goals of an investment program
  5. How to avoid risk
  6. How to choose your money manager or managers wisely
  7. How you can become a great investor yourself
  8. How you can become a client or partner of The Ridgewood Group

In each of our talks, we allow unlimited time for questions and are happy to discuss any and all issues and concerns.  Moreover, we apply the same straightforward and honest approach that we apply to all our endeavors. Taking Albert Einstein's recommendation to heart, we try to make everything as simple and understandable as possible (but no simpler).

Our hope in taking the time to give these talks is several fold:

  1. We hope to play a small part in educating investors to empower themselves (we believe that educated investors will be our best clients and we also feel it is important that people educate themselves so that they can protect themselves)
  2. We enjoy meeting people and exchanging ideas
  3. We would like to increase awareness of our approach and our firm
  4. We hope that some of the people who we speak to understand and appreciate our message enough that they will consider becoming a client or partner of The Ridgewood Group or may refer some friends/colleagues to us
  5. We believe that word of mouth is and will continue to be our path to success (business success not investment success) and in any case is our preferred mode to build our money management business

If you would like to attend one of our seminars or would like to organize one for a group of your friends, please contact us.
